The Contesa Vini farm was born in 2001 in Contrada Caparrone, a small fraction of Collecorvino (Pescara).
Lying along the fertile and luxuriant lands of an area that has always been suited to viticulture, our 50 hectares of vineyards in the Pescara hills are an invaluable heritage that the earth has given us.
The excellent characteristics of this land are the south-east exposure with a considerable temperature range between day and night, the ideal seasonality, soils at 250 meters above sea level with a predominantly clayey composition with a small percentage of limestone and an integrated production which favors the balance and protection of the earth over plant protection products.
In this area we have vineyards of Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Trebbiano, and Guyot grapes. With an annual production of about 300.000 bottles of wine, the Contesa company sells wines strongly linked to the territory, with a strong and decisive character.
